Day 3 Cartagena, Colombia

Originally called "Cartagena de Indias," Cartagena is one of the oldest cities in Colombia and an important port for the country. The port is a frequent stop for cruise ships in the southern Caribbean, especially those making the transit through the Panama Canal. Day 5 Panama Canal, Panama

The Panama Canal is a lock-type canal, owned and administered by the Republic of Panama, that connects the Atlantic and Pacific oceans through the narrow Isthmus of Panama. The length of the Panama Canal from shoreline to shoreline is about 40 miles, and from deep water in the Atlantic to deep water in the Pacific, about 50 miles. The canal, which was completed in August 1914, is one of the two most strategically important artificial waterways in the world.

Day 7 Puntarenas, Costa Rica

Puntarenas is the capital and largest city in the Province of Puntarenas, on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Puntarenas sits on a long, narrow peninsula in the Gulf of Nicoya on the Central Pacific Coast. The area is blessed with large amounts of sunshine and warmth, as well as fantastic flora and fauna, radiant beaches, incredible eco adventure opportunities, and majestic national parks. Puntarenas and its surrounding area offer an excellent assortment of activities such as sea kayaking, sports fishing, and tours to Tortuga Island.

Day 9 Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala

Puerto Quetzal is Guatemala's largest Pacific Ocean port. It is important for both cargo traffic and as a stop-off point for cruise liners. Puerto Quetzal was named after Quetzales, Guatemala's national bird. Main sites are the old Mayan sites of Yaxha and Iximche, the Tikal National Park, which is home to the Mayan Pyramid of the Great Jaguar, Central Plaza, and two large acropolises.

Day 11 Zihuatanejo, Mexico

In Zihuatanejo (Ixtapa), ships dock at the pier located in Zihuatanejo Bay. The pier is also known as the Paseo del Pescador (Fisherman's Walk) and is located in the heart of the town, just a short walk from the main square, the beach, and the local shops and restaurants. The pier is used as a port of call for small and medium-sized cruise ships and is equipped with all the necessary facilities to accommodate visitors, including immigration and customs services, transportation, and tour operators.

Day 13 Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Cabo San Lucas is a resort city at the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula, in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur, and it has been rated as one of Mexico's top 5 tourist destinations. Cabo San Lucas's white beaches, fecund waters, and spectacular arching stone cliffs at Land's End have become the backdrop for Baja's most raucous tourism. The activities are endless: jet-skiing, banana boating, parasailing, snorkeling, kitesurfing, diving, and horseback riding can all be found just by walking down to the beach.
