Miami is well known across the globe for its glitz and glamor and its beaches and sunny weather. PortMiami, formally the Dante B. Fascell Port of Miami, is a major seaport located in Biscayne Bay in Miami, Florida. PortMiami delivers a tropical vacation experience like no other port in the world.

Day 1 Ocean Cay, Bahamas

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, one of the Bahamas' private islands for cruise ships, is situated about 20 miles south of Bimini and 65 miles southeast of Miami. Ocean Cay is actually two small islands joined by a footbridge, with a sheltered lagoon in the middle. Ships dock right at the island, so as soon as passengers are ready for some time in the sun, they can simply disembark and stroll onto the island. From the island's pier, you can take the free tram to any of the island's beaches. Guests have their pick of a wide variety of beaches, both ocean- and lagoon-facing, each with its own unique character. Visitors can arrange water-based tours and hire water sports equipment, and there are bars and food trucks dotted all across the island.

Enjoy the island's world-renowned golf course, picture-perfect beaches, and spectacular nightlife.

Day 6 Antigua, Antigua and Barbuda

St. John's, the capital and port of Antigua, is where cruise ships dock. St. John's is a picturesque entry point into the island's history and culture. St. John's is lined with wooden homes that date back centuries and are now protected by iron roofs. Visit St. John's Cathedral in the downtown area to get a sense of the local religion and culture. You can reach the Heritage Quay open-air shopping center by heading southwest from the cathedral through the city. Have fun at King's Casino, located on the western end of 39ers Public Square and overlooking the Caribbean Sea, after a day of shopping or sightseeing. You can go about the island of Antigua quickly and easily from the St. John's Antigua Cruise Port, where you can also find many shops, bars, and stunning white sand beaches.

Day 7 St. Maarten, Dutch Caribbean

St. Maarten, a popular cruise-ship stop, is part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The capital, Philipsburg, has cobblestone streets and colorful, colonial-style buildings lining its Front Street shopping area. You could spend days exploring the "chains of mountains green," as described in the national anthem, along with the beautiful beaches and underwater fantasy lands.

Day 8 Martinique, Martinique

Fort de France is the capital of Martinique, the largest city in the French Antilles, and one of the major cities in the Caribbean. The city center is resplendent with architecture dating back to the start of the 19th century and monuments that speak of the island's history. The full range of shops, restaurants, and services are available in a distinctly Caribbean style. For those looking to party during their time on the islands of Trinidad and Tobago, Port of Spain is the place to be. Here, you can choose from a wide variety of nightclubs while listening to the distinctive sounds of Trinidadian steel pan calypso. Port of Spain is home to several notable tourist destinations, including the scenic Maracas Bay and the historic Fort George, the Red House, and the National Museum.
