Willemstad, often called the Amsterdam of the Caribbean, is the capital and main cruise port on the island of Curacao. It is like an old-world European metropolis that was dumped into the Caribbean. Booking an island tour or participating in outdoor pursuits like scuba diving, snorkeling, or mountain biking may allow you to see even more during your time in port.
