Kingstown is the capital, chief port, and main commercial center of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It is the center of the island's agricultural industry and a port of entry for tourists. For those who are interested in yachting and sport fishing, there are many organized activities. Kingstown has a number of cultural heritage sites like the Botanical Gardens, Fort Charlotte, the House of Assembly, and St. George's Cathedral. Traditional cultural practices such as tea meetings are occasionally held, and there has been some emphasis put on dance, drama, and music festivals.

Day 8 Roseau, Dominica

Roseau is the capital and largest city of Dominica. It is Dominica's most important port for foreign trade. There are botanic gardens, nearby waterfalls, thermal springs, and Morne Trois Pitons National Park, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997, which contains a flooded fumarole known as Boiling Lake.

You can reach the Heritage Quay open-air shopping center by heading southwest from the cathedral through the city. Have fun at King's Casino, located on the western end of 39ers Public Square and overlooking the Caribbean Sea, after a day of shopping or sightseeing. You can go about the island of Antigua quickly and easily from the St. John's Antigua Cruise Port, where you can also find many shops, bars, and stunning white sand beaches.
