Fort de France is the capital of Martinique, the largest city in the French Antilles, and one of the major cities in the Caribbean. The city center is resplendent with architecture dating back to the start of the 19th century and monuments that speak of the island's history. The full range of shops, restaurants, and services are available in a distinctly Caribbean style. As the country's chief port and busiest commercial center, it is famous for exporting sugar, rum, tinned fruit, and cacao.

Day 8 Castries, Saint Lucia

Saint Lucia is a sovereign island country in the West Indies in the eastern Caribbean Sea on the boundary with the Atlantic Ocean. Saint Lucia tends to be popular due to its tropical weather and scenery and its numerous beaches and resorts. Other tourist attractions include a drive-in volcano, Sulphur Springs, the Botanical Gardens, the majestic twin peaks, "The  a world heritage site, the rain forests, several options for boat trips, zip lining, and Pigeon Island National Park, which is home to Fort Rodney, an old British military base. Have fun at King's Casino, located on the western end of 39ers Public Square and overlooking the Caribbean Sea, after a day of shopping or sightseeing.
